Fold-In-Half Pole Light Ideal for Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats

Miami FL - Perko® recently started shipping the newly designed "Fold-in-Half" All Round lights to distributors and OEMs worldwide, as an addition to its family of C5 compliant navigation lights.

These new C-5 (2 nautical mile) lights were designed as direct replacements for the older (non C-5) Perko "Fold-in-Half" All round lights, Figs. 1439 & 1451.

These lights meet the 2nm visibility requirement as well as comply with the new C-5 regulations that took effect August 1, 2023. The new ABYC C5 regulation brings light intensity output in line with similar European regulations.

This new All Round Fold-in-Half Pole Light is ideal for RHIBs, but also look great on a wide variety of boats.

Perko's Fig. 1665 C-5 LED Universal Replacement Pole Light features an integrated light engine, and the special placement of the LED light engine allows proper horizontal alignment with any base configuration, straight, or 5 degree. Gold-plated contacts provide additional corrosion resistance and ensure long life, while the new high performance LEDs offer improved low operating temperatures and enable lower battery drain.

This new Pole Light will adds contemporary style to any vessel.

The lights have a polymer top, and a 3/4" diameter anodized aluminum tube. The lights are packaged with both threaded and locking collars and are available from any Perko authorized dealer or distributor. For those vessels requiring an extra-long light pole, Perko's fold-in-half models fit the bill and offers the advantage of easy, compact, and safe storage when not in use. Standard sizes include 48", 54", and 60" pole lengths, and available in both silver and black anodized finishes.
